The Liberation Route lets you experience what happened in 1944 and 1945 around Arnhem, Nijmegen and the Veluwe. Field boulders, the so-called listening spots, are located at 49 places in the wider area. At every listening point you can listen to a radio play about the experiences of the people in the years 1944-1945. One of the listening spots is found at the sheepfold opposite the campsite.

Wild game tours

Being face to face with red deer, roe deer and wild boars is a special experience. Unfortunately, the chance of an encounter with this game is very rare. In any case, one must get up early or set out at dusk, know the right places and have a lot of patience. There is a great chance to see game from the wild look-out point De Hindekamp, approximately 2 kilometres from the Nature Centre (behind the camping site). Would you like to join a tour? You can register at the reception.
