A Congenial Atmosphere
Breakfast on fresh rolls. Read the paper at leisure. Enjoying the sounds of nature. The scent of green and everything around you makes for a congenial atmosphere.

Unique terrain
The camp site is itself a jewel, starting with its location, in the middle of shady woods, the extensive heath and a choice of recreational facilities/opportunities. At least as special is the unique layout of the terrain. There can be no doubt, its playful character sets the scene.

Privacy
No straight rows of caravans and cottages, but nicely spread out with space all around and sometimes even at a different level. Camping Zuid Ginkel respects your privacy. And it shows.

Itineraries
Apart from fresh rolls and newspapers, camping Zuid Ginkel also sells itineraries from the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB and the Dutch Tourist Board. Bicycle and go-kart hire is simply and cheaply available on site.

In addition you will also find:

• Spacious plots throughout the season for your touring caravan;
• Generous annual plots for cottages;
• Car-free camping plots for tent, camper van or touring caravan. In sunny as well as shady areas, in larger fields or especially small and cosy. Each field has water, electrical and an aerial connection as applicable;
• Fully furnished cottages for a maximum of 4 persons. These are available to anyone who is temporarily in need of alternative accommodation, or to those who just want to get away for a short time or longer periods;
• Backpackers' field, for tent campers;
• A small kiosk for selling newspapers, fresh rolls, camping gas etc;
• Luxurious, clean, heated sanitary installations, with baby bathroom, disabled shower and toilet, covered dishwasher and laundry space;
• Playground;
• Boules pitch.

Restaurants
For culinary pleasures or feasting to suit every purse you do not need to look very far. At a mere 100 metres from the campsite you will find a number of pleasant restaurants. In surrounding area there are even more, all at walking or cycling distance.

Surrounding countryside
You can enjoy yourself at your camp site base or go a little further a field into the surrounding countryside. From the camp site itself you can follow the most beautiful nature trails. Paths are well maintained and particularly suited for cycling, walking, go-carting or horse riding. On the way, you pass various catering facilities, where you can have a rest and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Children
If you prefer to stay on the camp site, a book from our library will help you make the most of your well-earned rest. Just doing what you fancy, knowing that you do not have to worry about the children. Because they are having fun in the company of other children from the campsite. In the playground or go-carting safely within the camp site and building huts in the woods...

Special treats
Camping Zuid Ginkel regularly organises special treats for its young and older camping guests, many of whom have enjoyed our gipsy caravan outings and joining us in paying a visit to a shepherd.

• Burger's Zoo,
• Open-air museum,
• Ouwehands animal park
• Airborne war museum,
• And last, but not least Hoge Veluwe national park.

The nearby surroundings also offer many opportunities for an outing:

• The sheep pens at Ede. Every day, the shepherd walks his flock across the beautiful heath.
• The Veluwe Nature Centre, the point of departure for various excursions, such as a visit to the game watching hide.
